The Lion is a family pub run by Fiona, David and Charity which is nestled in amongst the Victorian splendour of Cliftonwood. The pub itself is two hundred years old and, although we have undergone some refurbishment, we have maintained the character and charm that makes this a wonderful traditional boozer. We have created an informal environment for you to enjoy some top-notch hospitality in comfort. The food and drink is exceptional and our log fires will keep you warm in the winter. And our enclosed garden catches the sun all day long and has the benefit of being next to a beautiful community park which is enclosed and great for the children. The Lion is The Local.
